How to Replace Headlight Bulb on 2005-2011 Toyota Tacoma

1. Open the hood and locate the bulb behind the headlight assembly.
2. On the driver’s side, the battery is usually removed to access the headlight bulb.



3. Unplug the electrical connector.



4. Remove the rubber water seal boot.



5. Remove the spring lock holding the bulb in place by pushing down and pushing it to the side.



6. Remove the headlight bulb, which will pull out.



7. Insert the new Bulb.

 

8. Reattach the waterproof rubber boot.

 

9. Attach the electrical plug and test the light.
