Open the hood and start at the front of the engine. Driver side is 1, 3, 5, then 7 toward the firewall. Passenger side is 2, 4, 6, then 8 toward the firewall. Bank-1 is the driver side. Bank-2 is the passenger side.

To find bank one on any engine, locate cylinder number one. That side is bank one. The other side is bank two.
