Replacing a Headlight Bulb on a Toyota Camry 2001–2006 is an easy task that most any DIYer can do.
There are 2 headlight bulbs with the inner one the high-beam and outer one the low-beam. The far outside one is the turn signal.

The driver side headlight bulbs are next to the battery which if removed makes the job easier.
The bulbs can be removed without taking the battery out although removing the battery makes it easier.
When replacing any headlight bulb be sure not to touch the bulb itself with your fingers, as oil from your hands can create a hot spot that shortens the life of the bulb.
How To Replace a Headlight Bulb Toyota Camry 2001–2006
- Open the hood and locate the bulb behind the headlight assembly.
- Remove the electric plug by pushing in the tab and pulling it off.
- Turn the bulb counter-clockwise and pull it out to remove it.
- Insert the new bulb turning it clockwise to lock it in.
- Reattach the electrical plug.
- Test the light which should now work.
Replacing a headlight bulb or running lights on a 2001–2006 Toyota Camry is an easy task and most will have little to no problems.
