Replacing a Headlight Bulb on a Toyota Camry 2001–2006 is an easy task that almost any DIYer can do.

There are two headlight bulbs with the inner one the high-beam and the outer one the low-beam. The far outside one is the turn signal.

The driver-side headlight bulbs are next to the battery, which, if removed, makes the job easier.

The bulbs can be removed without taking the battery out, although removing the battery makes it easier.

The passenger side headlight bulbs are easy to get to, and nothing needs to be removed to get to them.

When replacing any headlight bulb, be sure not to touch the bulb itself with your fingers, as oil from your hands can create a hot spot that shortens the life of the bulb.

  1. Open the hood and locate the bulb behind the headlight assembly.
  2. Remove the electric plug by pushing in the tab and pulling it off.

  4. Turn the bulb counter-clockwise and pull it out to remove it.

  8. Reattach the electrical plug.
  9. Test the light, which should now work.
